I want a good trailerable cover made for my Triton. I also want to be able to install it at the dock for overnight , so I imagine snaps will have to be installed. Does anyone have a recommendation for a custom cover maker in the s.e. wi. area? Also , what is the best fabric to use , I see many different styles out there now. Thanks.

Be sure you have all the edges that rub against your boat, motor also lined with a soft material or else your cover will rub against your boat as you travel and it will rub the paint off or dull the finish. I have a top gun cover and it has held up real well.

I've had 2 tops made at Marine Tops LTD in Madison. Both covers were custom fit to go around windshield- kickers- bow mounts etc. I had him attach snaps under the rub rail to eliminate having to run (flapping) straps down to the trailer. There is also a rope sewn into the hem of the cover to secure it. They have been flawless . I put about 10,000 miles a year on pulling my boat and in 6 years have not had even a thread come loose! Cost for 18fter in 2002 = $700 19 1/2 fter in 2006 =$900. Owners name is Steve @ 608 246 3979 . E-mail me if you want to see pictures. Happy holidays...
