Check out the Stowmaster line of nets. Lots of sizes to choose from. I use their TS108S and TS72N for different situations. It's the only net I've found that folds for stoarge and works as well as a non-stowable net. Super high quality. Beckman and Frabill also mke some very nice nets. These three are most likely the popular choices.

I have an Ed Cumings "Ultimate Walleye" net. I'm more than pleased with it. I found them on the internet, and found out they are located in Michigan. I was able to stop by the factory, and they made me the net right then. Great people and great net.

They carry them at Cabelas (if you don't happen to be local.)

I bought a Beckman this year, it is very nice, but I haven't caught a fish big enough to put in it ... as a matter of fact I haven't caught any fish since I bought it. ???

Get a Stowmaster and be done with it. If you want to see them in action, watch any video of InFisherman.

I have a beckman and a frabill. I think the frabill is a tru-lock. They are both great nets. The beckman is more heavy duty and also heavy. The frabill has been good to me and is very lite. I like both and if weight is a concern then the frabill might be worth a look.

I do think Beckman and Stowmaster are top of the line.

But, I like a net that isn't quite so heavy to handle... I use Dotline...(but with a Beckman bag on it).

I agree with T Mac

I have a Frabill Tru Trax with a Stowmaster net on it. I like the locking collar mechanisim for the handle extension

I was looking for a flat bottom net with a fine mesh, to assist with catch and release. I also wanted a long handle that could be extended even longer.

I found a Frabrill that fits the bil. Well pleased with it and effortless to use.

I especially like the flat bottom and the finer mesh. It makes catch and release so much easier. The long handle helps when you get those wary fish that get up tight if too close to the boat.

I found the same net that had a handle that extended from 6 feet to 9 feet.

Take care

I have to butt in hear and make a comment.
I have a Bass Pro "Rubber net" in 24" size.

The rubber is 100% better than all the "line style" nets.
Fish fall out and nothring gets tangled.

Rubber is best for the walleye, smally, panfish etc.
If your are going to big musky/northerns, the "line style" nets might be the better choice.

Yes rubber is good for catch and release and is a great idea. I like my net to be quick and easily swung into and out of the water, even with one hand. Rubber makes this harder as it has more weight to it than mesh. Also there is more water resistance with the thicker rubber when trying to scoop a big fish quickly with one hand.
Get a good knotless flatt bottom frabil, beckman or stowmaster. I have a Frabil and I love it.

I have a Loki and a Beckman. I use the Beckman if I've got another person in the boat and the Loki if I'm by myself. Beckmans speak for themselves, they are legends in northern fishing. The Loki is a pretty solid, large hoop, deep bag, net that you can easily remove treble hooks from.
