fyi...
I know a while back there were some unhappy people with Bass Pro. This year I ordered a trolling motor from them ($60 less expensive than anywhere else, plus free shipping). Then I ordered a GPS unit (free shipping) used it for 2 weeks and returned it with no hassle. I also broke one of my best Bass Pro rods. I probably had it longer than their guaranteed time limit and I did not have a receipt. Ten days after I sent it to them, a brand new rod ($120 value) was in my hands - it was nicer than the original one and I also got a different action which I requested. Only cost me $7 for S&H.
Maybe the earlier postings here made them pay more attention customer service. All I know is that they have given me top rate service at bargain prices. I am very happy with them and thought I would share this information with other fishermen.
