Yamaha Outboard Warranty.......

I am looking at a boat with a Yamaha Outboard. The engines still have a year left on the warranty to the orginal owner. Does anyone know if that warranty will transfer to a 2nd owner? I really appreciate your help guys. Thanks

Thanks so much you solved my problems, another question if anyone knows is how are the rates for their extended service plan? The motor is a 200hp V-Max HPDI. I am just wondering a ball park figure.
