Does anyone have any information about resorts on Lake Oahe? Talked to Ted Takasaki at the Walleye Masters Institute about the fishing there. Of course he was a great help pointing out spots to help me along. He recommended Bush's Landing, but I can't find any information about this resort. If anyone has information, I owe you.

I have been out there a couple of times and have stayed at Pike Haven Resort. I just tried to find my stuff for South Dakota and found junk for everywhere but there. Pike Haven is about 8.5 miles south of the Cheyenne/Little Bend area. You may want to go on Tony Deans site to get other resorts. I'am sure he has all kinds of info. Otherwise catch the South Dakota ads on the fishing shows and send for a packet of free literature. They have a ton of stuff that would help you for sure. Wish I could give you more. I love it out there, lots of water and hardly anybody fishing it. Best of luck and may all your fishes be big fishes! The Kingfish.

Dale, Depending on the time of the year, you may be better off staying at a motel in Pierre. The spring and fall bite can many times be better in the river below the dam than above the dam on the big lake. The Pike Haven owners are very nice people, can't say the same about the folks at Sunset Lodge near Bushes Landing. I've been fishing in that area for the last 18 years, so if I can help with anything else, let me know.

I have stayed at all these multiple times and they all will do the job for you. I have listed them in the order I would pick if they were all available.

1. Spring Creek
2. Lighthouse Point
3. Cow Creek
4. Sunset
5. Pike Haven
