My crew would like to try the UP for some walleye fishing this summer. We have no experience there and are looking for recommendations on lakes, resorts, etc. Anything would help.

I don't think you could go wrong with fishing at Little Bay de Noc. Not the most scenic of waters in the UP, but of course the place could be surrounded by a toxic landfill and I bet the crowds wouldn't go down. Try these links for some UP info:

Big Bay DE Noc is also a great walleye fishery most fish average 4.5 lbs..I fish Big Bay all summer with good results. For more info contact me at upprop@uplogon.com
