Chat Room Problems

I've been having problems with the chat room for the last few days. I can get into it but I'm in
my own little room. Everyone else is telling me on ICQ that they're together in a room and here I am off alone in another room. It's kind of spooky
in a way...
I've tried rebooting but nothing seems to help.
If you've been having the same problems, would you
please speak up. Maybe we can get this fixed...

Ness, i had trouble trying to get on last night myself(5/18/00) wonder whats going on.never did get on.

Hey Ness,
Yep , you are not alone. I was in there last week getting ready for the chat & low and behold , I was in the ghost room. I believe what we are experiencing is what is called a "net split".
I have seen this first hand in the mIRC chats. It happens when the server is overloaded. Instead of it not allowing anymore people on, it creates a mirror site & thus The Ghost Room. I'm not sure anything can be done but am sure it will be lookes into.
