>George Carlin Speaks Out...
>
>I Am Your Worst Nightmare. I am a BAD American. I am George Carlin. I
>believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some mid-level
>governmental functionary with a bad comb-over who wants to give it away to
>crack addicts squirting out babies. I believe that if you are selling me a
>Big Mac, you'd better do it in English. I'm not in touch with my feelings
>and I like it that way. I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise
>a child, it takes two parents. I think owning a gun doesn't make you a
>killer. I want to know which church is it exactly where the Reverend Jesse
>Jackson preaches. And where does he get his money. And why is he always
>part of the problem and not the solution. I think that being a student
>doesn't give you any more enlightenment than working at Blockbuster. In
>fact, if your parents are footing the bill to put your pansy ##### through
>4-7 years of college, you haven't begun to be enlightened. I believe
>everyone has a right to pray to his or her God or gods, just leave the
>rest of us out of it. This also applies to sexuality. I don't think being a
>minority makes you noble or victimized. I don't use the excuse "it's for
>the children" as a shield for unpopular opinions or actions. I think
>fireworks should be legal on the 4th of July. My heroes are John Wayne, the
>Simpsons, and whoever canceled Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. I don't hate the
>rich. I don't pity the poor. I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my
>time arguing about it. I think global warming is a big lie. Where are all
>those experts now, when I am freezing my ##### through a long winter? I've
>never owned a slave, or was a slave, I didn't wander forty years in the
>desert after getting chased out of Egypt, I haven't burned any witches or
>been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you, so shut up already. I
>think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry ##### if you're running
>from them. I also think they have the right to pull your ##### over if you
>are breaking the law, regardless of what color you are. I think if you are
>too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should
>be running the most powerful nation of the world for the next four years.
>I think if you are in the passing lane, and not passing, your license
>should be revoked, and you should be forced to ride the bus until you
>promise to never delay the rest of us again. I think beef jerky could quite
>possibly be the perfect food. I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you
>want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. I
>think
>Dr. Seuss was a genius. I'm neither angry nor franchised, no matter how
>desperately the mainstream media would like the world to believe otherwise.
>If that makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.
>If you too are a BAD American please forward this to everyone you know.
>We need our country back! "If you can't beat them, then they're not tied
>down properly."

You won't find many celebrities with those views. That was very refreshing, amen brother.

P.S. Does anyone know Smartalec Baldwins' email address? I sure would like to email this to him.

Gotta love old George. He's always been one of my heros. I guess that makes me a bad American, too.

Not sure if that was something that George said. I got the exact same script in an email some time ago and it was supposedly authored by Ted Nugent. Gotta be careful what you read on the internet. Never the less.......the commentary says a whole lot!

Neverless who wrote it, if it details a "BAD AMERICAN" - that is I.

YES, it was George Carlin saying this. I saw it on an HBO comedy special.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
Rock on, George.

Not Carlin

While I love "A bad American", it is unfortunately not from George.

Check out his own response at

this is the kind of rhetoric that encourages people to be rude, caustic and abrasive. i knew i didn't like carlin for a reason. i would rather read something about walleyes on this site and leave trash talking to the "hip hop" channel.

I'm a real bad Canadian cause I strongly believe in all that. That guy is brilliant, those are all my thoughts, I just couldn't put them in writing. And I thought all along I was some type of misfit and was the only one who believed in all that common sense stuff. I'm very happy to see there's still a few of us left. Thanks for the post, it was very refreshing! Now back to the igloo, The Simpson's is on. Have a great day all.

It's interesting, but Ted Nugent didn't author it either. Anytime you question something on the internet or incoming emails such as various devastating computer viruses or the legislatures proposal on taxing each email, check out either www.truthorfiction.com or www.urbanlegends.com to see if it's legitimate.

As for Ted Nugent and George Carlin's denial of the "Bad American" and it's authenticity, check out

Smartalec Baldwin ... I don't think he has a U.S. address anymore. Didn't he promise to leave the country if Bush was elected????

I think he and that prima-donna "Babra" both did.

Yah, it sounds more like "the Nuge" than George.

Mr. Whatever your post me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Make me puke!

Tom P

I knew it was not Carlin saying that. He's TOO " progressive " to think with commonsense like the author of that letter. As time keeps ticking away. We keep adding years to our life. We keep getting farther and farther away from commonsense thinking like that letter. How much farther left can we go in mass thinking till we become a socilist nation? Another 20-30 years?? But then we will ALL "feel" so then it will be ok! Sounds more like Nugent, then the hippy dippy weatherman.

Tom

Amusing. A complete display of ignorance, but amusing.

Tom P
03-10-2002, 04:03 PM
Just as ignorant as 60 million plus other people that mark "R" on the ballot and run 70% of our fortune 500 companies. Must of hit a nerve again. Anytime anyone questions left leaning thinking you get called names and they never come back with their own facts to disprove your therory. Then they call you ignorant, when in turn they are even more ignorant as to " believe " all the lies and fear mongoring their guys keep telling us. My theorem: Name calling, with no civil reply to discount or disprove the other persons facts, through even acceptable heated returns = ignorants. Welcome to the club! Mr. Spock! :)

I like some of the things he (or whoever wrote it) says but not 100% of the whole package,.(I believe in global warming for instance) but As John Mellencamp sez,.."Ain't that Amercia"....(I'm not sure I want everyone to agree with me 100%,..)

Tom P
03-10-2002, 04:24 PM
We all know you will never agree with everything someone says. Even Wellstone is right some of the time.( Did I just say that!) But do our friends on the left have the balls to say Limbaugh or that "new" Mike Savage guy can be right on an issue, is the real question.

Amdahl
03-10-2002, 04:48 PM
Count me in for having balls...What really gets under my skin is how fast everyone wants to label someone left or right, like either is somehow inherently bad. Face it folks, both sides of the fence is what makes this country great, its what keeps us all from falling over one edge or the the other. Sorry, I normally stay out of these.

(Kevin) Amdahl

P.S. Got a kick out of the post, whoever the heck wrote it

George did say it on the HBO special. I saw it too. But his web site says he did not send this e-mail out or start it. I believe George is right. I am a bad American! Living close to NY city I saw the lights go on for the towers last night and couldn't wonder about all those families. My brother was running from that attack. God bless AMERICA and **** all those ***holes that don't speak english! JJ

I am definitely more inclined to believe that it came from Ted Nugent...

Regardless, it is a sensible statement...I am not totally cold to the ones "in need", but, I too believe there are far more lazy than needy...

And, I believe we are more in control of our lives than some would propose...And, we are a lot less responsible for the bad than they tell us...

It's a pity that the Libertarians don't win a few elections...

Yes sir-ree-da-dee that's me.Abad American? No way in #####. To belive in the traditional value's that has taken our country to the present day is simply that.Tradition.Don't tell me the press isn't bias. Don't tell me Andrea Yates didn't know what she was doing. If she didn't,why the ##### didin't she shove a peanut butter and jelly sandwitch up her little kid's noses'?Whomever penned the letter I just read, crediting George Carlin,it does not matter. It is the opoinion of an obvious majority of American's.The press doesn't want to think of that.I'd like to add a sidebar;I'm frankly sick and tired of the Socialist belief's that we are all to be the same.Everybody is the same;NOT! The best thing about this country is that we have people with money, some without. You have the power to change that-today!So do it. I did. Anyone else with a success story? We need people of all classes. It make's our country great. If we take from the people at the top all the time, you'll only bring the top down and the bottom will sink lower.Oh,by the way Hillary,it take's a man and a woman-as parent's to raise the children, not some stinkin' village.Yeah,I'm a bad American,so just try to take my gun's, or try to teach my children there isn't a God,or absolutes in life,or tell me crap that blur's right and wrong.I go to the restaurant and pray with my family,as God has told us to do.Show everyone your strong faith.Everyone in the place doesn't have to join in,but it show's your'e not afraid to wear your'e belief's on your lapel. You'll be surprised how many people belive like you and I do.Take a kid fishin'-and pass this great tradition on, guy's. Please. Also, pass on one simple fact-Right and wrong.Amen.

That's where Bin Laden and his bunch messed up, they thought that Americans were like Bill and Hillory, or those professors at Harvard and East Lansing or those stiffs on Capitol Gang. If he had met an American like you, he would have stayed home and picked on someone else. Now, if he's alive he has a company of special ops guys like you outside his cave and one way or another he's not coming out alive.

Gentleman, gentleman, please just say it doesen't matter who wrote that letter;it only matter's more and more American's belive it;think it say it;and live it!You see a media telling us that thing's are this way or that;that we are a country that should feel guilty about the way we live,or in essence have succeeded in the world and led the way throughout our history, and brought the world to the present day. The media has one goal;to appear important. It's very apparent that they're not.Let me say that we should continue to belive that we are great because of one thing;FREEDOM.If the world did not have us as a free country, then what would it be,a Communist mudpuddle?Thank God for America.THINK OF THIS---The Ark was built by amateur's--The Titanic was built by professional's - eh' gentleman?
