Looking to perchase a new sonar/ GPS unit looking for some info on this unit

I have the 38HD same unit just has the hard drive, very nice unit, large enough to run in split screen gps/sonar and you can still see everything fine even while running in rough water, the screen resolution is the same as the 10.4 inch units. I really like this unit and feel it's the perfect size, not to big but not to small. You will be happy with the unit. I fish the great lakes so I opted to go with the HD unit because of the pre loaded maps for my kind of trolling and open water fishing the maps are good. I have the 200 ducer and I can mark rigger balls at 100 ft and mark fish at cruising speeds, lots of RMS power.

If you have any specific questions let me know. Check out the new HDS units before you spend your bucks.
