I know there is a way to see how many hours a lowrance unit has been on. Could someone tell me how to get into that screen. I know its there, I jsut can't seem to remember how to get that info.
Thanks in advance,

go to Menu/Overlay Data/Enter/Time/Hours Used. Check the box and it will pop up on the screen.
I know some other guys on this board know a lot of other useful tricks for these units. Things that Lowrance will not tell you.

its called an owners manual
Here are a few that may, or may not be in the manual.
Press the exit button three times(from the map page) and you this huge speedometer
and odometer on the screen. Exit again and it was go away.

From the status page, press the down arrow twice and you will see this detailed satellite page.
At least it would be detailed if I had the gps antenna plugged in.
Press the right arrow twice and you will see the simulator page.

OK guys, let's share some more of these wonderful tidbits!!
Good now I know it was not the beer talking, I knew there was more than what was just in the owners manual. Thanks VaGuy!
VA Guy,
Neat tip. I tried it on the Lowrance simulator and just the center gauge popped up. Do you know if additonal gauges pop up on an actual operating system based on the number of NMEA devices that are configured in the system? I have a Yamaha interface cable plugged into my F90 and can display a variety of info on a separate LMF-400 gauge that is part of my network (rpms, engine temp, voltage, gps speed, etc). It would be great if I could get the same info to show on my LCX-27 display in a multi-gauge format like is shown on your attached link. I recall the 2008 Lowrance catalog showing something similar but haven't yet figured out how to configure that set up.
Unfortunately, boat is in deep storage so I'm unable to check it out.

I added the other guages from the "overlay" menu. Anything
you can can view on the lmf400 can be added to the unit
screen using the overlay feature. Lots of neat features how
to setup the guages.
For another neat feature that's(I don't think) not in the manual, see the
"LCX27" thread, "how to view pictures on a lowrance screen".
