A few questions:
1) Will I lose any performance with the internal antenna vs the external antenna on a tiller?

2) Will I be able to add the new HA antenna to the internal antenna model at a later date?

Humminbirds internal GPS antenna has been flawless. I don`t beleive you will be able to run the new antenna no plug in on the back or any way to disable the internal GPS antenna. All other GPS birds will be able to run the new antenna. Another thing I luv about birds don`t have to buy a new unit to update new features as they come out. Not like Lowrance any time they change something have to buy a whole new unit to get the upgrade.
