Just bought a Med/LT action 6'6 IM8 rod to use for jigging. What has been others' experiences with their rods?
Thanks.

It's an excellent rod for the price, I have several. I went to Gander yesterday to buy another because of the sale, but they were out of the model I wanted. :-(

Thanks for the response. I was also looking at a Fenwick Techna AV (I think !) for $59.00. Seemed a little lighter than the Gander Mt. rod. Are they a slightly better built rod?

I have two guide series musky rods and six trolling rods for walleyes. Have had them for years with no complaints. Good bang for the buck! Never tried their jigging rods but I sure wouldn't be afraid to try.
Where did you find Fenwick Techna AV's for $59? Thanks.
