Has anyone encountered any problem with their LX-3 gradually locking up. While fishing in the boat with the transducer mounted on the trolling motor the flasher set in the 20' mode will gradually blank out the entire screen with red. Set to 40' and it will do the same until the screen is all red. Changed transducers to no avail. Ice fishing with the unit no problems, can run for days and never acts up in the ice pack. Actually took everything off and took on our annual fly in trip and unit perfomed flawlessly with the transducer mounted to a 1x2 clamped to the 14' boat. I'm beginning to believe I must be getting some interference from the trolling motor itself? The transducer coax should be shielded but who knows. Just wondering if any one has come across this and what was the fix. Gets kind of frustrating when the expensive flasher goes out and have to fall back on the el cheapo graph as back up.
