Reef Runners are very popular and for good reason, the rip sticks, deep lil rippers, and deep divers all get a lot of mouth play on the boards, but what about the scooters? I like to fish original wiggle warts and hot'n tots but with what Normark has done my supplies can only last so long so whats the deal with the scooters?
The scooters are a real shallow running crankbait. there arent as many colors as the reefrunners. they have worked for smallies and trout in real shallow water, and streams. i hope this helps answer your question. good luck and good fishin.

Scooters are a good warm water bait - like tots, etc. Lots of noise and movement. I mostly fish stained water though.

Well I know they are shallow running cranks but I can build up the lip or replace it with a deep diving RR lip with little complications. The deep diving lip is easy to mold and the lip can be melted and extended without affecting strength or the actual bait. It seems strange I know but I have done it enough before to get rather profficent at the manipulation process not the construction process, yet.

Kevin,
In reference to your question the information that I have received from one of the factory Representatives for Reef Runner the
Little Scooters are being discontinued. He did not give me an in depth
answer on this because I did not ask him. I had placed an order for
other Reefrunner products (500 +) but had no requests from customers
for the Little Scooters. Sorry Kevin. Better buy what you can find be-
fore they are totally unavailable.
