Cordless Minnkota motor

I bought a new bow mount trolling Minnkota VS 2 with the corded foot control. I have been considering getting the cordless control option. Anyone ever used this?

I could be wrong but I dont think Minn kota has a motor with a cordless foot pedal, thats the Motor Guide. They do however have a hand held remote (co-pilot) that works really well.

Minn Kota has a wireless pedal option for the V2. I have one but I would suggest keeping your cored one on our boat. If the battery dies on the pedal unit you are SOL with out a pedal so to speak. Otherwise it is great works anywhere on the boat good range.
