Steve, it is a lake that is on the ohio/pa line , northern part of the line, it has a real decent walleye population, and musky too, plus crappie, and bass, and the other usual fish. it is shallow, but not real big, but a good fishin lake. good luck and good fishin.

Thank you....I have had at least 20 people ask me that this week. It was in a post on the "Fishing Reports" page here, and without a capital first letter or in the context I read it, I just couldn't figure it out. But then I'm a little slow....

Steve.. a good eye lake on PA/OH border limited to 10hp motors.. never fished it!

I can understand you not knowing this, last year when I first talked with Gary Gray about pre fishing at Dunkirk he joking (I think?) asked if we had walleye back here! Guess all you 'out west' walleye guys think the Atlantic Ocean starts just east of Port Clinton! LOL

At least I looked at a map before I asked.lol
I have caught eye's as far east as Henderson Harbor on Lake Ontario.
My favorite Erie area is from Fairport Harbor east. Gotta love that clear, deep water.

Pymatuning Lake is located on the PA/Ohio border, with a good population of fish.Walleye in decent number's, White Bass in the fall will keep you busy all day,and Muskie, now making a rebound on this 13,699 acres lowland/flatland reservoir.A causeway going across the lake provide's a good structure to find Walleye,Bass and a Muskie for your day on this 10HP restricted lake. Drifting the area's north of the causeway,on the Ohio side,is a consistent producer of Walleye in May.The bay's(maybe 20 good one's) on the west side, put the 4 and 5lb Largemouth's in my boat. A Rapala,or Large spinnerbait is the ticket. This lake has a dark color water to it. It's old flooded farm land,so big bait's do well. Crappie are a huge draw in the spring, and it has many shallow bay's and main lake stump's to hold these fish.Down the lake,is an area where the lake narrow's,and this spot has put the best Walleye in my boat. This has the deepest water, also. Around 35 FT. Stocker Island is a great spot for Largemouth,Crappie, and Perch. This lake was the first place my Dad took me fishin',and I still think of him everytime I plan a trip north. We used crawler harness' and june-bug spinner's,to load up on the fish. That was then.Check out www.pymatuninglake.com They have Walleye round-up's.See youz guy's on the lake!

By the way,Pymatuning is an Indian word. It's got many Bald Eagles in the area, nesting and bringing back our national bird.

Thanks so much for your very informative answer. Sounds like a great place to have within your walleye hunting arsenal of lakes. It is very intriguing to me, being from the Land of Ten Thousand Lakes, that the horsepower rating is so small on such a big lake.
Your memories of your dad and your first trips resemble mine as we too used June-Bug spinners back in the late fifties. Thanks again...I hope to be able to fish there someday. Good luck!
