I'm considering a new graph for this season and am somewhat torn between the Garmin 240 and the Lowrance X-91. I want speed and temp with it, and I can see there is about a $180 difference between the two. I really don't know a lot about either one outside of what I've read. My brother-in-law has the X-85, which I understand the 91 has replaced and he is very happy with it. Has anyone had a chance yet to use the X-91 and how do the two units compare? Thanks for the help.

I have the exact same question and would really like some advice. I am leaning toward the X91 because it is a Lowrance and is supposed to be superior in shallow water, which I fish a lot.
