The best way is to find a rig that works and simply copy it. For spinners I usually stay away from huge components and floats. Just use what is necessary: beads, clevis, spinner, hook(s). Your choice of color and size depending on what your fishing for. You can buy components at most sporting stores. There should be previous posts about spinner rigs. Fish on!

This is an excellent site for learning the "how to's" of making harnesses - as well as fishing them.

Also try the Walleyes Inc website and scroll down to "Making Crawler Harnesses". It's probably the best info. that you'll find anywhere. Good Luck.

I had the priveledge to see a presentation by Keith K (I won't hack the spelling of his last name) at the Milwaukee sport show on Sat. He didn't discuss making them in the presentation, but he explained the details of using them. Afterwards, he offered to show how he can tie them in less than 45 sec. A very good presentation if he is doing it in your neck of the woods. Otherwise, look at his web site (linked from WC pro pages) for some articles. Good Luck!
