Did anyone else receive the "Limited Spring Edition" catalog
form Cabela. It has 1462 pages and a hard cover. I get catalogs
from Bass Pro, Cabelas and others most every other day, but
never anything like this. Must weight 5 pounds and looks like
an encyclopedia.

I have been getting them for a couple of years now. Spring and Fall. Others started getting them before me. I have not gotten the hardback for this spring yet though. I kind of like them. Everything is in one book. But I still get all their other catalogues too.

Never got one of those hard cover fishing ones but did get one of the hard cover hunting one years ago, my friend did whine how he didn't get one too haha. I'm sure they make it up for not sending me a hard cover by sending me other catalogs at the rate of about every week or 2.

I think it has to do with the amount of money you spend ordering from the catalog over a given time frame.

A couple of years ago, I bought a two coats, boots for the wife, the usual fishing stuff, and items for the new boat such as life jackets, paddle, what have you. The wife and kids got a big laugh out of it.

VA Guy,
They are exactly correct in that the catalog you receive, especially the hardcover edition is based upon the amount you have spent recently.

When you receive that edition; you my friend are a BIG SHOOTER in the eyes of Cabela's marketing.

Think of it as a beautiful coffee table edition, welcome to the club!

Good Luck,

I've been getting them for about a year now. I'm not sure what their paramaters for shipping them to a person are. I don't know if it a dollar amout spent of what?

I did not spend as much last year as in years past, but I do order from them.
