We have a little snow, some more coming (not enough to help water tables it seems)but most importantly we can dig out the boat in a week or two, add the new rod holders, add the new quick change trolling motor mount and hit the open water where we can find it.
Red Wing should be crawling with boats, and the Wisconsin opener isn't that far away. The last couple years have been beneficial for the cold because ice out wasn't til a couple of nights before opener which reduced the amount of time for spearing. Even so we are ready for warm. It must be a function of age.
One more major sport show to meet old friends and vendors.
Yup, it is coming soon and we should all be thankful for having this site get us through the winter in one piece, highly informed and amazingly this year it has been a quiet year (where did tough guy go?)
