What recommendations for line for baitcasting reel, the primary use which will be casting crankbaits? Thanks.
Really personal pref.
I do not use a baitcaster for pitching cranks since the ones I use are small. Small lures are tough to cast on baitcasting equip. So I use spinning gear. On that I use either 8lb mono or 6/2 fireline. I use 8lb mono rather then 6 since I am usually in the trees and need a little more strength to horse em out.
