Depends how much money you want to spend. What are you looking for speed, ride, large platforms, etc...? For pure speed you may want to look at Bullet or Allison. For ride, resale Ranger or Triton. Skeeter used to make a nice boat. Stratos if you are looking for a decent boat at a good price. I have fished out of all of these at one time or another and I used to own a Stratos. I liked the for the price, ride, and price, but that was 15 years ago. Now I own a Yarcraft 209 and love that.
Not going to find much help here in walleye boat country. I suggest bass boat central. As far as the best riding and dryest bass boat going, as well as the most fishable, it's probably the Champion. And most of the Ranger boys will admit it over there.

The best bass boat is the one that gets traded in for a new walleye boat!

I thought the best bass boat was the fastest boat on the water, right? Just a litte ribbing!

From all the reading I've done, RKS is right. Certainly it's all about how YOU like what you're driving, but many people really like the Champions. I think one of their slogans is "Ride and Decide." Go to bassboatcentral.com as has been suggested and sniff around a bit... Good stuff on there...

Warrior boats has a couple that are really sharp. I would take a look at them. They are starting to get pretty popular with the bass anglers here in Minnesota.

Go with a Ranger or Triton and you will be happy. Also be sure to consider the dealer. Buy one from someone who can drive one and has personal experience. Having owned several brands, Ranger and Triton are the ones that gave me trouble free use.

I'm biased because I've run a 520 Ranger for years. If you're up north thats the rig. I've fished as a co-angler in several tourneys so I've been in few for comparison. The consensus of most of the pros I've talked to, even those that didn't have them is that the 520 is the best. The Tritons are faster, so it depends on where you fish. Erie/smallmouth expert Joe Balog fishes out of a 620, and loves it. I think he's starting a trend.

You blast off last and still make it to the hole first.

Need to check out the Ranger lineup. Even though in the Minnesota area we have ice, there are plenty of areas in the country where there is open water. Ranger is very committed to TestRides through out the country. Give me a call and will get you set up with a TestRide on open water ASAP.
DO THE RANGER RIDE THEN DECIDE.
