What would work well for all my lead head jigs? I am currently using two separate Plano style clear plastic boxes...
Thanks for any suggestions.

John I use those Plano divders in 3 different sizes for jigs but through the years and abuse, carrying waves and what not. I found that using small locking bags 2x3 in for individual jigs ideal. With expoxy you can also keep a few in this type bag. The plastic helps keep them dry and keeps the paints fresh and unchipped also helps with hook sharpness. Its a bit of a hassle with stinger hooks and you end up with a few in your pockets but they are reusable. If your using powder paints and storing jigs it's a must in my opinion.
Well John you are off to a good start! Get 6 more clear Plano boxes and a soft tackle bag to put them in. Fill up all 6 boxes with different kinds of jigs and you are ready to go fishing. Have fun !
I have gone to the thinner - plan0 boxes.
I then carry only one box on board at a time.
Before fishing for the day - put in a selection of the jigs that you are going to use for the day, and leave the rest at home.
It saves your sholder carrying the lead to the boat, it also keeps your unused jigs from getting all banged up, by bouncing around - against other jigs for the whole season - without ever coming out of their box.

p.s.
I know about all of the arguments -- what if???
The day is too short to answer that question.
Just look back at previous trips, and take out and put on the table all of the different baits that used on that particular lake for the time of the year that you are fishing. I bet that the few number of baits that actually hit the water on a given day of fishing might suprise you. Many folks say that they need 1000 jigs in their box, because --- what if---
I think that if you check, and if you are really honest with yourself -- unless you fish really snaggy bottoms; that you can go for days and use only a half dozen jigs and or hooks.
This thing called Walleye fishing is not rocket science, and - the need for huge amounts of tackle - is largely dictated by the fishing store and fisherman, rather than the real needs of what it takes to put fish in the livewell.

You have gotten some good advice in these previous posts, but thought I'd add just one small thing.
I carry all my jigs in two Shimano bags with the compartmentalized boxes. I prefer the Shimmano boxes over the Plano boxes simply because of the rounded corners (learned this trick from Jul's a while back!).

Just something that I have and use...
I was having the same delemia and thought long and hard on this one. I thought about what I use for ice fishing... Smaller craft type box I found at a sewing store. I try to go as small as possible during ice fishing season because it is one more thing to haul around. Anyways... I went to a sewing/craft store and bought a box that is about 3" tall by 20" wide...and can hold about 400 jigs or so (exaggerating here..)the bottom holds my lindy rigs perfectly rolled on one of those roller type things. Check this out before buying a tackle box. Very cheap and very useful. I love it...
