How far from the center of the keel should the transducer be placed on my 1900 Pro –V? I will be using a mounting board and placing it on the starboard side.

Good fishing!

Though I don't own anything remotely close to your nice boat, I'll offer some input. First, I'm surprised your instructions don't give you this information. Anyway, it's best to have the transducer at least 12" away from the outside edge of the prop. Make sure the transducer is not mounted behind anything that could create turbulence like strakes or steps in the hull. Also It's best to have the transducer on the side of the boat where the prop enters the water when in forward gear. Typically, the starboard side is where the prop exits the water. Do yourself a favor and mount the board vertically with screws installed above the water line. Use a lot of silicone caulk around the inside perimeter of the board, in and around the screw holes too.
