I've been looking for a ten year old Ranger for a couple months now. Are there not many around or do people just not want to part with these boats? I would like a decent glass tiller about 10 years old. Hopefully a Ranger, but even a Yar-Craft or Skeeter would work.
Does anyone know better ways to look for used boats than using Google or other search engines? Any help would be great!

Yes like that one. That is the only one I've found online since I started looking. I just would like some ways to compare them to each other with prices, options, etc. I'm in the Twin Cities. I should say to that I'd even take a 1993 and newer boat- but I can find none. Thanks!

If you notice the Warrior does not need a "whale tail" on it like the Ranger. Ranger has finally decided on moving their batteries up front like others have for 15 years.

I've fished out of Warriors a couple times but never liked them much. Always seemed like I had to hold the rod at shoulder height while I was rigging or jigging. Just liked the Rangers and Yar crafts the most because of the storage and "****pit areas"

Call Frankie at Frankies. Don't bother with the sales department. Ask him if he knows of somebody who has a 690. He often knows of people who would part with a boat but don't have it actively for sale. Last year he had a 681T with a never Suzuki on it I think. I don't know if he still has that one or not.
Good luck :D

Thanks for the info. I may try Frankies, but I've been trying to avoid them if possible. They haven't made any points with some of the pros that I know. Even with the well known guys here on the north end of town.

Maybe you better find different pro's?:smirk: Just kidding. They have been good to me and many more. I'm sure somewhere people have an ax to grind. Kind of comes with the territory I guess.
Good luck with the search.
