Well Walleye Anglers Trail first MISSISSIPPI pool
9 tourney is over. Final Winning weight just short
of 48#s for 4# average. Big fish Saturday 7+lbs
Big fish Sunday 9.98#s which God blessed my partner and I with at about 1:30 Sunday afternoon.
Our big fish and apparently a large percentage of
the large fish were caught on breaks perpendicular
to the current rather than on paralell breaks or
as I believe they really should be called contours. There were some fish caught jigging but most came on cranks either long lined in front of wing dams or as we did pulled on some type of threeway setup. And as always I was pulling a
realchrome,rattling,suspending, Husky Jerk.
