Shooting for a 20 Week IceFishing Season

Have icefished at least once per week since
If I can keep the streak going through April 8 2009, that will be 20 weeks. :cheers:

Don't know where your from but GO FOR IT! If you are in N. Mn you should have no problem. I wished I was on track with you but I have not even been close. I do plan on a very busy rest of the season on the ice.

Well the lake that I fished on Nov 20th was 15 miles north of downtown St Paul
and all my fishing this winter has been within 25 miles of downtown St Paul (except for a trip to Winni on Jan 19 and 20)
My plans for April are Upper Red, Lake of the Woods (Long Point), and some lakes around Vermillion.
I'm hoping to go until April 20 (which would be 22 weeks).
But mostly because it would be really cool to be able to say that Nov 20 2008 to April 20 2009 was an icefishing season of EXACTLY FIVE MONTHS.

If you fish northern Manitoba you can extend your season till the first part of June some years.

I finally came to my senses! I knew I was thinking about this all wrong. When you are still ice fishing in April, I hope to be in a boat! What was I thinking!
