I'm thinking about buying a Lowrance LCX 37. I can pick one up for $1189.00, is this a good price since they don't make them anymore? How long will I be able to get support from Lowrance? Does anyone have any pros or cons about this unit? Any thoughts or help will be appreciated, thanks.

Sounds like a very good price on an excellent unit. Lowrance changes models every couple of years. I'm sure you can expect service on
this model for at least 5 years. They do offer extended warrenties for
two years after the 1st year.
I am "pro" Lowrance. I have a Globalmap 9200, lcx 26hd, x510c,
lra 2000 radar, lbs-1 sounder sonar, lmf 200, lmf 400, plus
the nmea 2000 network is extensive, and the lbs-1, 9200, and
510 are networked with ethernet also.
The Lowrance "cons" will have to come from someone else.

Anything come with the 37 (gps antenna, ducer)? I recently bought a 37 with just the head unit for $1,049 and no tax or shipping (byownerelectronics.com).

I did assume that was a "combo" unit when I said that was a fair
or good price.

This is a good deal as long as the GPS RECEIVER comes with it.
I have seen prices like you stated without the GPS RECEIVER.
Typical prices I have found are $1350 to $1500
If so I sure like my 37 and would by another especially at your price.

That price includes transducer, and gps antenna. Also 1 yr. warranty and option for additional year. Seriously thinking about getting it, just wanted a little input and advice on the unit. Thanks for all replys.

$1,235 for 37c, LGC-3000 and Dual Freq ducer is best I could find. Yours is a good price if the dealer is reputable and has good service. I can't tell you how I like mine, yet, as I haven't been out in the boat yet. But I'm thinking I will really like the unit for all its features.
