Anybody use the PowerWinch RC winch? Looks like it might be handy if you fish by yourself.

I put one on my rig last year and am happy with it thus far. Bought mine used and it's oversized for my boat/trailer but the price was right. I didn't care for the cable and replaced that with a woven strap and it seems to work just fine that way. Naturally had to make some modifications to mount it but didn't find it difficult to do. Couldn't find a way on mine to mount it so that light would be horizontal but haven't found that to be something I've missed so far. The one thing I do miss is you're unable to use the winch as a holding device when traveling, you need to have a separate tie down strap for that.
