I have a couple who are friends of mine. The wife suffered a stroke 6 months ago. Prior to the stroke they were camping and fishing buddies. The husband called me last night and asked me if I knew of any manufacturers of assistive fishing equipment. My friend's wife is limited in movement in her left side and so they are looking for equipment which would allow her to be as independent as possible. I have searched the internet and found some things. I thought that some fishing organizations sometimes promote fishing days for the handicapped. If anyone has some additional information, I would appreciate it.
