Hey guys
Does anyone know a good place on the web to get repair parts for an Abu Garcia reel?
The few places I have found didnt pan out, one that listed the part I needed never replied and the other that says on their site has parts, turns out they dont.
I need the return pawl for the bail on a 5500CL3.

Their service phone # 1-800-228-4272. Try abu-garcia.com and go to their service page and you can get views of reel schematics for part numbers. Also locations of service centers.They did well by me.

Perchjerker What is your location? It is problable to far but we have a great rod and reel shop here in Des Moines Ia. You might call them Glenn's Rod and Reel 2201 E 9th st. Des Moines Ia phone 515-262-2990 .... Worth a try good luck Jim

You might try Bass Pro I do know they have a reel repair station over in the outlet building down in Springfield. Several times I have dropped ABU reels off there to have them cleaned and pawls put in.

Go to www.mikesreelrepair.com. He was a great help to me and sent me parts for a really old ambassadeur that I had. He has several schematics on line and is very pleasant to deal with. He is in Canada.

Hey PercheJerker try Berkeley in Spirit Lake. They repair not sure if they sell the parts or not.
I've sent some in there and come back better than new ones.
