I am looking for some input on the navionics maps. I just order the one. They did tell me they were fishing hot spots maps. Please let me know if this is a good system or not! You can email me if you would like iamwalleye1@aol.com

Hey Iam: I have the maps for LOTW and they are great. Detail is very good and I have gone to many places for the first time without a miss. They are a little pricey but for what you get, they are worth every penny. I have mine in the LC 15MT and you have to be carefull ont to erase the memory in the chip, so I take it out everytime I have to do a reset. I wiuld do it again in a heartbeat....Goo luck navigating.....Kaz

I have both the Hot Spots and the Navionics map of Lake of the Woods and the Navionics map is much more accurate I have the Hot Spots in my X-15 and the Navionics in the LMS 1600 and the big difference is with the Hot spots is shows me on shore sometimes going by islands and the Navionics shows me still in the water. I bought the Hot Spots because they were on sale and being that I already had the Navionics the thought I would try something different. The detailing on the Hot Spots is very nice and I do look at it from time to time. It might be just the part of the lake I am on the it is not accurate. On other lakes it might be fine, but I don't know.
