Just wondering, have they announced the payout for the Cabela's Tournament yet? If so, where is it posted?

Thanks,
Erik

Although it says $25,000.00 first place prize, I believe it's $25K per team member, but I'm not sure. The above link is the only info I can find on it.

You can go to www.masterswalleyecircuit.com and click on the bulletin board, and post that question there under the Mille Lacs thread. Someone might be able to answer your question.

There is no entry fee for this one. You had to qualify for it last year.

I e-mailed Cabela's with the same question and got a pleasantly surprising answer. They must have tremendous sponsor support for this event. They are paying Cash to ALL 250 places. The only prizes are the 2 boats going to 1st place. The 250th place team will get $250 cash. I've never heard of an event like that. Wow! By the way, the 2 1st place team members don't get $25K each. $25K is the total for 1st (plus the 2 boats).

Fishy,
Heck with a name like that, how can you fail to win? lol
I was just kiddin' ya! But I know one thing...We ain't worried about limits or culling or anything in THAT event. We just hope to catch the first 'legal' keeper, then maybe the next and with a lot of luck, the next. Anything 'legal' after that, and we'll be lightin' a candle and staring at the blue sky.....lol I'm scared to death over that one! Our boat will be a floatin' casino.

Steve - Are you saying it's a "crap shoot"? With the slot being what it is on Mille Lacs, it does seem that it will take "more than the usual" amount of luck to do well. Would you say the "slot" is the "great equalizer" or that, like most events, the cream will rise to the top and the guys that catch the most fish will also find, amongst the bunch, enough to fit in or over the slot?
