I just started runnin stabil marine in my 150 optimax last fall and this spring. I dont know if it is the cooler weather or it is the stabil but i notice my engin running about 200 more rpms then normal. Has anyone else notice this or is it do to the cool water weather. I know i have heard that cool weather you will run more rpms but dont think it would affect a efi.
Thanks

Its not uncommon to run more rpms in the cooler temps, it happens to most motors, 200 rpms is probaly on the high side of alot of motors.

Yep, the motors like the cold air. Makes more HP with the cold dense air.

Rod ...like Shep says. They like cool air...makes more hp. 'Cuz ...cool air is denser.

Keep in mind....your EFI delivers the fuel...not the air.
Thus EFI works better with cool air, too.
