I need to get a pair of trolling bags to help slow the boat down. Can someone recommend a good set of bags and all needed info on where to call or send. What is the average cost of a set of bags? Does Wave Tamer make trolling Bags? Would bags be better than a trolling plate? I have a 90 HP and need to slow the boat down on calm nights or days. Thanks to all who answer. JJ

I just used my new 24" boat Brakes Bag today for back trolling in an awkward wind and it was AWESOME. They are easy to use and very well made. They have a web site to at www.boatbrakes.com
Check them out I am very happy with the way mine perform.

I use the Wave Tamer for forward trolling by setting it off the bow hook on a short line. The bag runs perfectly well under the boat and swings clear when you idle the motor to boat the fish.

The Wave Tamer bag is it.
You know it's a good bag when 3 other boats drive up to you on the opener and ask what kind of bag you have because they've been watching how easy they are to use. Just throw it in the water and it does all the work.
It's up to you, but I won't use anything BUT a Wave Tamer.
