I am headed that way for about 25 days for work i figured there would be some good steelie and maybe some brown fishing close by was wondering if anyone had any info on eyes or anything for that matter in the area thanks alot guys..Fish on.......Instigator#735

Instigator, I live in a suburb of Roch. and as far as fishing goes, the hot ticket should be perch. The streams have been so low that unless we get some good rains (forecast for this weekend)there will not be a good run of steelies this spring. If you're bringing a boat or have access to one, the Lake Ontario fishing should be warming up soon. I don't know for sure when you're coming but walleye is closing tomorrow (3/15) and doesn't reopen until the first saturday in May. Like I said, the perch are hitting well and I expect it to last for another few weeks. Any questions, feel free to e-mail me.
