burns ditch report

went all over the lake today...nice day to fish...1 ft waves....first went to landfill...us steel water discharge...was the second boat there....caught a brown trout on downrigger and orange walleyediver 8ft down...had a fish on a white twister tail on jig but it got off....and had one other little hit...the boat that was there when i got there had four guys...they were anchored near the discharge and had 8 coho when i left....most boats had one fish that i asked....i left and went to doughnut...was passing a boat at #2 marker(mouth of port) and they had 4 fish.....i went to doughnut and did not get a fish...tried for over an hour....on way back , passed the boat that had four fish and they just got a double and landed one...right where the wall starts near the doughnut...so i tried there and got two nice coho...on perch shadraps....so i ended with one brown and two coho...oops...only one coho and 1`/2 brown as my wife is baking 1/2 my catch as i type!!!!...steve

Thanks for the report.As the water warms it should just keep getting better.Might be over there again Sat.

went to pastrick wall this evening i went 0 for 3 and my buddy went 1 for 2 and another guy went 1 for 4. they are there just have to work em a little bit will be out all weekend and will report each outage to ya guys later.

Made 2 passes at gary light, no coho. saw 1 small one caught. Ran to 95th in the river, 30 perch. Size was on the small side.

Picked up 2 hands with a few small throw backs plus a nice fiesty brown that was also released.

Steve , nice talking to ya in the ditch today on the way in.
