I just bought a used glass boat. The color looks a little foggy. Is this from oxidation? How do I get rid of it?

There are lots of brands of fiberglass cleaners. Start with the least abrasive ones. Your local marine dealer should have a selection, an autoparts store may also have some. The mail order and internet marine suppliers will have a selection. Bass Pro, Cabela's, Boatworld, Overton's, Westmarine, to name a few.

Wal-Mart is now caring 3-M products in the marine section just for marine use. They have oxidation remover, cleaner wax, boat wax and vinyl cleaner. I used the products last year and was very impressed with it!! It will make that boat look like new again. I hope this helps.
Another great product line is the Mequires line. They have the right compound for almost every situation. I use these products every spring and they are excellent! Not the cheapest however.
