Hi all,
Does anybody have any feedback on the RAYMARINE series fishfinders.
This company used to be Raytheon but was bought out recently. I was looking at the model L470 with speed/temp for around $399. I'm going to replace my now disfunctional Humminbird that dosn't like to sing for me all the time.
Thanks,
-LB :)

Raymarine is still owned by Raytheon.......their products work quite well.I have no complaints about service or their products.
I have their autopilot,their gps,and their L470 fishfinder.
Acually, the fishfinder is an Appelco 465, which is the current L470.......have had no problems.

The L470 is pretty tough to beat. It's a robust unit and pretty easy to use. Excellent hard Vs. soft bottom detail. Raymarine's service is top notch. For a HUGE company, they will take the time to help.
