Well it seems a new boat or even a new motor is out. PT's M70 series props are for my 60. The REB series is supposed to be a direct replacement for a Black Max. Is it identical or has PT improved on it. I believe the Merc Vengeance is the same as the Black Max but stainless. Are the Vengeance and the REB virtually the same? Cup, Rake, etc.

They are close, but not exactly. I don't have a real performace #S between the two, I haven't tested them head to head yet. Your going to be able to get the powertech prop at a much better price, your not paying for the name. We've sold lots of those Reb powertech most are happy with them. You aren't going to gain huge performance #s with a ss on that motor but you will get better holeshot less cavitation maybe 1 to 2 mph topend. Thats if you compare stainless to a aluminum
