I fished for 6 hours from the stacks to the Huron River, not even a nibble. I talked to about 12-15 guys, nothing taken!!! There were a couple of guys hand lining with no success!

The air was about 50 degress on the water, water temp 36 deg., wind SSE 10-20mph, water murky to muddy, about 12 -20 boats all day, only
4-6 visable at anytime. I took a ride out on the lake south to the cooling towers, the water was muddy, light brown. I went up river
to Elizabeth Park and the water was still merky. Elizabeth Park is still closed, I don't think it opens till April 1st.

Thats all folks!!

Thanks,

Randy

I was at the northern part of Detroit River on Wednesday. Only saw a couple boats motoring - looked like they were heading to/from their perch grounds. No boats fishing. Water clarity slightly stained on US side to very muddy on Canada side. Ended up down here because St. Claire ramps do not have their docks in yet.

I fished Peche Island area on Wed for 2 hrs and got 2 eaters and a BASS?? We were jigging and I saw 1 boat handlining that caught a few fish maybe 5. The water was muddy and N winds blew Thurs and made it bad for fishing.
Will get out next week.

I went out of Bolles this morning to look around, thats all I did is look because its all mud as far as you could see, I took long boat ride out past toledo shipping channel and more mud, mud as far north as Brest Bay.
As far as river, we ended up there too, that looked better than the lake. Its still too early.
