Trying to decide on a Garmin Map 76 or a Lowrance Global 100 GPS.
Does amy one have any experience with either one of these units?

I don't have any experience with the Garmin, but I have the Lowrance Global 100 plus. I've only used it a couple of times, but I'm impressed with it. It's easy to download the maps if you get that feature and is very easy to operate. I got my unit free with the purchase of an X-15, as did lots of other people. So you should be able to find them on e-bay at a good price.
