Got a friend in Chicago that moved from Atlanta (striper fisherman) that wants to get out fishing for salmon out of Racine or Kenosha. Can anyone reccomend some top charter/guides in that area for salmon?

If it was Algoma or Sturgeon Bay I would have him all hooked up but I have been out of the loop so long, I'm not familiar with the southern guys.

Thanks in advance,

Mexico

When is he looking to get out?

Without a doubt, the 2 best if given any choice would be Dan Keating out of Winthrop Harbor IL... http://www.bluehorizon1.com/ or with Chip Porter out of Kenosha... http://www.chipporter.com/

Those two are very well known in the salmon area, both with published books and videos. Again, if given any choice with no limitations, it'd be one of those.

As far as others, Capt Gabe Powers on Prove It Charters, http://www.proveitcharters.com/ is great out of Racine. In Kenosha, Capt Al Johnson with Rainmaker Charters http://www.rainmakersportfishing.com/index.shtml and Capt Dave Scott with Resolute Sportfishing http://www.resolutecharters.com/ both have good reputations.

If he's looking to go further north into Milwaukee, well I might just have someone there I could recommend too.
