do you de-carb both 2strokes and 4 strokes with ring free or seafoam

ALways seasfoam. I run it in anything with an engine! lawn mowers, atv, snowblower, ice auger......You get the point...doesnt matter....2stk or 4 stk:cheers:

Get a can of merc powertune and follow the directions.

I recommend this method. I have used it with good results.

There are a lot of brands of basically the same product that will do it.
But I like Yamaha Ring Free and have used it for many years. Read the directions...it is concentrated.

I agree with T mac, Ring free is the best, I shock my 97 150 Yamaha once a year and use seafoam in every fill up. The 150 runs like a bat outa ****...Still shocks my friends with their new Optis and E-techs when I pull away from them, nothing like carb motor to kick you back in the seat and the smell of 2 cycle exhaust in the morning...LOL

I agree with TMAC ringfree works wonders. I had a friend with an older Yamaha that didnt use it and was having running problems I told him to try some end of problem.
