sd/mmc cards

I just updated my Lowrance LCX 26 HD with a sd card and went to update my new HDS 7 with the same card but dosn't fit in the slot. Are sd and mmc cards a little different in size? The Lowrance software update info page says sd/mmc card for both. Any help is appreciated. Thanx Andy

MMC cards are an older device that no longer seems to be for sale. SD cards are the "same-form-factor replacement". Check the HDS manual to make sure you're installing them correctly.
