Well, thanks to your kind replies I've managed to transfer my waypoints from my old Garmin GPS to my new Lowrance 525.
I have a network and Ethernet connected one 525 and one 520 Lowrance units.
I moved my waypoints/tracks to the 525 units and was thinking since they are connected together either unit will see the waypoints.
525 sees them no problem
But when I check the 520 I don't see any of my waypoints there...
I believe my network and Ethernet are working fine as it says so when I check my NMEA Bus setup.
And the Waypoint sharing and Backlight Synchronization are both checked on both units.
Is there anything else I am missing that needs to be done so both units display my waypoints?
Thank you again!

You'll need to save those waypoints on you 525 to a chip and load them to your 520. Waypoint sharing only works when you save a new waypoint on either unit.

As a waypoint is being saved on one unit (by pressing the wpt key) it is also saved on the other(s). It's kind of a limited sharing system, that's all it does.

All of the waypoints you just loaded on to on unit from the SD card will
also have to be loaded in the same manner on the other.

Thanks guys.
Appreciate your quick and to the point replies.
I already have the waypoints on the SD card and was going to load them on to the 520 the same way I loaded them onto the 525 but was thinking (obviously wrong) that the network system is smarter than that and transfers automatically all waypoints (old and new). I now understand it only works with "new" waypoints. Anyhow...thank you again!
