Ok I've done all the reading and still don't have a clear answer.

What's the best way to tie in a kicker motor to the main fuel tank if you only have 1 fuel pickup on the main tank?

Also has anyone ever installed a second fuel pickup on there tank?

Thanks for the help.

Use a 3 way fuel selector valve after your boat's fuel filter. That way each motor is isolated from the other and will not suck air from the non-running motor's fuel line.

The easiest way is to T off the main fuel line and be sure to install a primer bulb between the T and the kicker. The primer bulbs have check valves in them to keep air from being sucked into the main from the kicker. Only problem may be if you have an inline fuel filter the kicker may not have the suction to pull the fuel through it.

Does anyone have expierence with this issue?

I have an F115 and T8 on an Lund Angler 1700ss. It has one main line splitting to two, one going to each engine. Each motor has it's own priming bulb.

I do not have a fuel filter and considering putting on in. Was considering putting it on the main line before the split but wonder if I would have problems big_crappie pointed to.

Anyone have the same set up with a fuel filter? How is it installed and what mfg type of filter do you reccomend.
