Wade at Jolly Ann Marine can probably help you. He is very helpful with electronics questions. Sometimes he comments here on Walleye Central if he sees your post. If not, you can e-mail him. I bought an X15mt form him a few years back. He was very helpful and the price was right too. Good luck. Here is an e-mail address for him: jollyann@cableone.net

Mr Skeeter,

Just thought of another idea that might help you. On my X15, I ran maps that I downloaded for free from the Lowrance web site. If the lakes you fish are available there, you may not need a map chip.

Look for a used Lakemaster chip. An older one - 2-3 years old.

I have A 2004 X-18 and run a 2008 Lakemaster chip.

It works but because of the high detail on some lakes it takes a little longer to load compared to my older chip.

it takes the "Classic" version of the Navionics charts.

They may not be in production anymore, I am sure you find can them on ebay, etc

YOu can look around but odds are you are not going to find a new chip for an old obsolete unit like the 15. Look for a used one.

A Lakemaster chip will work. Ran one in my X-15.

You need a Navionics "Classic" chart- either the Classic Marine chart or the Classic HotMaps version.

Plotter compatibility chart is here: http://www.navionics.com/HMClassicCompatiblePlotters.asp

Have Scheels order it in for you, or contact Navionics directly. It's a special order item.

What he said. It will refresh slow but should work. Make sure the X-15 has the last update from Lowrance installed.
