Opti alarm

I have a 175 opti new last year had no trouble the first time I took it out this year was just idling getting some stuff ready and the steady alarm went off so I shut the motor off started it back up and it ran fine for the rest of the day then the second time I went out I ran the motor most of the day and the alarm went of again shut motor off and started it ran fine now the dealer says the impeller is out and they going to hook it up to the computer and find out there is a good stream of water coming out so I find it hard to belive it the impeller Any ideas thanks

I had the same thing happen to me last spring. Took it to the dealer, replaced the impeller, good as new.

The pee hole just lets you know that there is water, dosen`t necesarily mean enough water and presssure to keep the Opti cool.

After idleing for a while and putting the hammer down about half way up on plane my temp alarm would sound then go off
