I wonder if anyone can give me some info on snap weights for trolling. I want to troll more and feel like I need help getting deeper without pulling cranks with huge lips. How do you use them, where can I get them etc.? Thanks.

You'll need to pick up a Precession trolling book
There’s drive curves in there and they explain how to use them
But there are 2 methods
There’s the 50/50 (dive curves are in the book)
And there's the 20 plus method
It's a 1 oz weight 20' in front of the crank will give you 33% more depth
Offshore sells a snap weight kit or you can buy the offshore clips and add your weights

You can buy them online or at Cabales, Bass pro, GM, etc......

The one ounce 20 feet in front, adding 1/3 to diving depth is easy to remember and fairly accurate for snapweights. However, if you want to get to the nearest 1/2 inch for precision, spool up some leadcore and play with it for 15 minutes.
